Time for a Wedding and Clam Bake

Two weekends ago, we celebrated the marriage of Joshua and Erin our fantastic couple from California.  The day could not have been more perfect with the sun shining, a slight breeze blowing, and not a cloud in the sky. The ceremony was able to be held outside at the Holden Inn in Wellfleet. The guests sipped on lemonade and iced tea as they waited for the ceremony to begin. Once the newlyweds were married, they made their way to cocktail hour outside of the tent. The guests were ushered in the tent to begin the reception and the delicious clam bake provided by Clambakes Etc. Since Joshua and Erin met because of their dogs, their guests were seated according to different pictures of dog breeds at each table. The rustic looking tent was illuminated by candle light as the night went on. Friends and family danced the night away as a celebration to the new couple. A different tradition was made by serving various choices of pies instead of cake, much to the delight of the guests. As an exit and pre-celebration of the Fourth of July, the guests exited the tent with lit sparklers as they walked down to the after party, held at the charming Winslow Tavern. A special thanks to all of our wonderful vendors: Marion's Pie Shop, Pro Bartending, DJ Keith Lemire, Lisa Rigby Photography, Rentals Unlimited, Sperry Tents, Clambakes Etc. and the Holden Inn. Here are a few sneak peek shots taken by Mikaela Nye, The Perfect Plan's staff photographer!

A Day We'll Never Forget

This past weekend was definitely one to remember. The beautiful Chantal arrived to the Wings Neck property right on time, while the staff for the day continued to set up for the reception and ceremony. Her bubbly personality and contagious smile light up the property as soon as she arrived. Right before the ceremony, the stunning bride revealed herself to her groom infront of a few family members before the guests arrived. Once the intimate ceremony started, the 55 guests listened to the nuptuals spoken in french by the bride and groom and the officient. A champagne toast welcomed the guests and newlyweds to the cocktail hour, while the fabulous caterers from Chapin's Catering passed appetizers. Shortly after, the bride and groom welcomed all of their guests to the reception for their introduction. They surprised everyone with a dance routine including the bridal party and various family members, that blew everyone away. Once dinner started, three different wine parings were offered to each guest for each of their three courses. Everyone chatted and danced the night away. The next morning, the couple welcomed their guests to a wonderful brunch under the tent. We would like to thank all of our wonderful vendors for once again an amazing weekend; we could not have done it with out all of you. Thank you to Mike from Artistic Wedding Films for the video teaser below! We wish nothing but love and happiness to the newlyweds!
